In Loving
Memory Poetry
“In 1994 after the loss of my
fiancé I began writing poetry to
find comfort. Four years later
tragedy struck again with the
loss of my only brother. It was
then that I wrote the poem
“Never Say Goodbye”, which I
feel is a message from Billy to
his family and friends. The
response from the poem was
overwhelming; so many people
were touched by the healing
words that it spoke. People then
began requesting to have their
own personal poem written in
loving memory of their loved
one. I then decided to write
healing words for others to help
ease their pain. My poetry has
touched the hearts of many by
giving them the courage to begin
to heal. I may not be able to
give you answers, but I hope to
bring you some peace.”
